Tracking the jaguar

Anybody want to see a jaguar?

I found a website for this guy who tracks jaguars and leads tourists out to see them. He says that they are often close to rivers, so going in a quiet boat and scanning the shore is the best way to see them. Also he claims to attract jaguars using an "Indian technique," blowing a bamboo horn that is supposed to mimic the call of the jaguar.

Is he for real? Does this actually work?

Who knows... but they do see a lot of jaguars on the tours! See some of the awesome pictures of jaguars taken on the tours below:

Unfortunately his tours are a minimum of four days, but it would be awesome to do a shorter tour to look for jaguars! There are definitely other wildlife tours/safaris that we could do. Can't wait to spend some time on the water!!
